Storms come, but the sun still shines.

Trials are a beautiful thing.

Life is a beautiful thing.

We are placed here to experience hard times to realize the beauty that we have. If we wouldn't have these hard times, our lives could not feel so much joy.

God knows all and loves all.

Memorial Day: MESA FALLS

Memorial day is one of the best holidays. I am so grateful for this beautiful and amazing country we live in and the freedoms we have. Thank you to all those who have served and do serve. We are blessed. 

We took a trip up to Mesa Falls for the morning/afternoon! It was a beautiful day and something we've been wanting to do for a while. I remembered the camera, but not the memory cards. So pretend all of these pictures were taken with a DSLR, not an iPhone. 

A RAINBOW! Can you believe it? We came at the PERFECT time.

We went with the wonderful Dominguez Family! Maelie is the cutest. 

I think I want to frame this one. It's just too perfect. 

Then we went to a museum. HA.

This is where we carved K+A into a tree two years ago when we went camping here! It's still there but sort of gone. It was fun to find, and hard to believe it's been two years almost.

At night we enjoyed a BBQ with the Dominguez's and then Keri Anne's Italian Ice. It was a wonderful day.

Hiking "R" Mountain

Saturday Morning at 9:30a.m. we went on a hike! Our goal is to hike Tablerock before we leave Idaho, so why not start preparing with a mini hike? 

On our way up we saw our friends, Tom and Kim! At first I thought, "Oh they got a babysitter to go on a hike!" Then Tom turned around and I saw little Kyler on his back! It was a good laugh.

It was windy!

Story behind this one: Kent wouldn't cooperate for a picture, so I took one of him like this. Then he made me take one like his. 

I married a crazy.

Directions to R Mountain Trail:

Go on Main Street past Beaver Dick and then turn left to go to the dump. Then take a right at the very next street and keep going until you see a parking lot on the left. That is where the trail starts! 

My Beautiful sister, Claire, got married to Brantley Brooks April 17, 2014. They are precious together. These photos are from their reception in Idaho Falls. I will have more of their wedding photos soon... don't you worry!
