the past three months

I am currently working on a paper for my internship, reflecting on these past three months. A lot has happened in our personal lives...
+We found out that Kent has to stick around a little longer, so we will be here in Rexburg until about 2016. Hurts a little every time I think about it. Still hasn't sunk in.
+Kent had a root canal and cavities to fill $$$
+My camera broke $$$$
+We got rid of a lot of CRAP from our house. Felt good.
+We camped twice!
+I found a love for crafts again - now that I have more time.
+Shot and edited two weddings.
+My Aunt Lydia passed away and I still have moments where I just start crying. I miss her.
It has been quite the emotional roller coaster. I can't wait to get off this "roller coaster". One day I just have to suck it up and enjoy it. But honestly, it's been hard. Really hard.

I cannot think of a time to compare this to, but before this semester started I felt something big was coming. And that something was Heavenly Father getting us back to the path we need to be on. I don't know it yet, but this is the path for us.

It will get better with time.

Happy Sunday

We have never actually taken a picture together after church. I asked the first person I saw to take it and it happened to be a chubby 10 year old.
My new skirt!
At the street festival with the sun in our eyes.
Today we were subs for nursery. They were the kids we taught before and it was a blast to be with them again. Kai and Kent had a lot of fun goofing off.

Happy Messages

I got ideas from pinterest but made them myself. Feel free to take and print off for Visiting teaching messages or just hang on your fridge!

*I'm pretty sure Gordon B. Hinckley only said 6... Sorry I think I added a few too many.

Well Hello 2 a.m.

It's been a while since I've seen the clock at 2:40 a.m.
I've been getting more sleep since I do not take classes in the Spring time!

Remember that camping trip we went on? Here are the nice pictures to go with it:

Baby Maelie holding her bottle while chillin in the tent.
There was lighting that night and I happened to get a shot of it!
The next morning we looked awesome!

Here is the sad part: These are the last images I took with my camera. It hurts me to look at these.
There she is, the last photo!
These past 6 years have been some of the best with that little camera. I'm excited for a new one, but it's still hard realizing we have to pay THAT much money.
Things will get better though :)

Hi / Wisdom Teeth / My Camera

So I just realized that you cannot actually play those videos in my fourth of July post... sorry. I guess you can get a glimpse of them.

August 1st is the day I will (finally) get my wisdom teeth out. I hope my experience is just as good as this one. Oh Claire, I love you. Part of me is excited for this event, just because it's fun and I'll never do it again, but part of me is sad that my sister won't be there to film me this time. But I need them out before school starts, Claire. :(

Right Now I'm:

+ Waiting for devotional to end to go to work.
+ Writing a list of what Kent needs to buy at the grocery store.
+ Trying to clean and pick up our  home.
+ Watering our Plants and making a mess (They don't need THAT much water).
+ Wearing my hair to the side because it's hot in here!
+ Calling my mom to talk about credit and credit cards.
+ Listening to Kent's hilarious Spanish voicemail.
+ Happy I don't have any cavities.
+ Thinking about all the things I've wanted to do with a video camera that I will get to do when I get my new camera.

Speaking of...
On the morning of the 4th of July, I got my camera out, took some pictures in the morning light at our campsite and as I went to take a picture of our fire, my camera read an error message and would not take the picture. I thought nothing really of it, so I put it away and figured it would work when we got home. Nope. It's gone. I'll eventually fix it, but I've been wanting to get a video/full frame, so here we come Canon 6D! I'm very excited for this new equipment to help my talent grow even further.

A little fun with iMovie

Here is a little video from our anniversary. On iMovie they have these trailers that you can just plug in your videos with. I went with this one and it makes our date seem way more intense than it really was :)
