What is with this wave of sleepy and tired feeling that has overtaken us?! We sleep until 12 and leave the house maybe once a day.
We decided to change this little habit of ours and went to clean the church along with 34 other members this morning. Bishop decided to clean the ovens and man was it hot and it smelt like burnt potatoes. Which made cleaning (with a headache) even more awesome.
Then we came home and snuggled and slept until noon. There goes our day again!
We're behind on thank-you's. There, I said it! We still have ...5 days left in Kansas (onto great state of Oklahoma!). We will get them done. It should be alright? right??
{I want to make a pinata before we leave. Stay tuned.}
We have been married for exactly half a month (if the month we are counting on only has exactly 4 weeks). I used to be so concerned on how we celebrate momentous occasions, but today when my husband grabbed me, kissed me and said happy 2 weeks of being married. Right now I don't really care about the "make sure we both have a card to celebrate". Being married is awesome.

The sea
For those of you who don't know, I was born, grew up, and never left Kansas until I went to college. Idaho was a whole new world to me with the "mountains in the distance" and the rolling hills of sand we call the "Sand dunes". So when we decided on a honeymoon destination, we had to include the ocean. It was everything and more than I expected! Except that first initial inhale of salt water. It left me confused - how in the world is there that much SALT in this water?
Our days were pretty full of adventures but we did manage to dedicate one entire day to the sea. We rode the waves and oh yeah! I flashed everyone on the beach. My husband helped me out there :)
3 pairs of shoes, a horrible car rental experience, and one Mexican blanket later we snuggle here in my parents house waiting for our next adventure... which happens to be tonight. We are going to target! and Pier 1 to find a snuggley blanket.
Need right now: To tell BYU-I I'm married so I can register for classes.
Excited for: Our UTAH reception!!!!! To see all my friends!!!
Blessing: To be so close to family right now.

bliss
So far what I have to say about married life is: It's the best.
I've heard that from everyone, but it really is true!
Our Honeymoon was amazing and everything went perfect except for the rental car. I LOVE THE COAST!
This last Sunday we came home from church and ate cookies and cherries as we snuggled in bed.
Kent is laying his head on my tummy and sleeping so peacefully while I type. I love hearing him sleep.
We caught a firefly tonight.
We match our clothes almost every day.
He is there when I wake up - I still have to remember where I am and that I'm married.
IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS >> but then again... it does!
I'm excited for the trials and the hard times we will need to go through as a couple. It's been nice, but I'm ready to move on from being under our parent's roof. Right now we are at my house in Kansas and will soon be moving onto Kent's in July and then FINALLY our apartment in August. We are learning to live with not only each other but also 4 other people at the moment. Right now the words "Come what may and love it" are going through my mind.
It will get better with a better attitude.

Take a spot on our wall and follow us through our marriage and let's see where life takes us.
