Back from Kansas.

This past weekend my friend flew me out to Kansas to shoot her wedding. It was so much fun going back to where I, just 1.5 months ago, got married. Being away from Kent was the hardest thing ever! And it was only like 2 days! But we got through it. whew.

During the reception of this wedding I got my plate, sat down and bowed my head. After like a minute of thanking Heavenly Father for all the safe traveling and good shooting during the day, I realized my prayer was getting long and people were probably looking at me. Quickly said amen and got on to the BBQ chicken.A man started walking over to me, sat down next to me and said, "I respect you for your prayer." "Oh, thank you." Then he said, "You don't see that much now days, thank you." I watched him as he walked away and thought of how one little thing I did meant so much to him. That moment made me so grateful for prayer and how Heavenly Father still cares about his children. Through that man I was able to know I was doing a good thing.
